Deciduous, featuring Dr. Ryan Gardner, trumpet

The University of North Alabama Wind Ensemble presents Deciduous, a program exploring themes of change, growth, and renewal through a diverse collection of works. From the lively folk-inspired energy of Molly on the Shore to the expressive colors of Concierto de Aranjuez, the program moves across musical traditions and soundscapes, balancing lyrical beauty with rhythmic vitality and powerful expression.

The concert features Dr. Ryan Gardner on trumpet in L’esprit de la trompette and Concierto de Aranjuez. Together, these works invite listeners to reflect on the ways music captures transformation and the enduring process of growth.
